Problem Note 50667: The SQL Join transformation generates incorrect code for SAS® Data Integration jobs migrated to SAS® Data Integration Studio 4.3 or later
The SQL Join transformation generates incorrect code under the following conditions:
- The SAS Data Integration Studio job containing the SQL Join transformation is migrated to SAS Data Integration Studio 4.3 or a later release.
- The SQL Join transformation contains GROUP BY or ORDER BY clauses.
The order of the variables that are used in the GROUP BY or ORDER BY clauses will be incorrect. As a result, the SAS Data Integration job fails with the following error:
ERROR: BY variables are not properly sorted on data set libname.data-set-name
